Since 1996, the United States Government has deported thousands veterans who, as legalized citizens, joined the United States Armed Forces and served proudly in wars such as Vietnam, Persian Gulf, Kosovo, Iraq and Afghanistan in both combat and peacetime. They have been and currently are being deported to various countries around the world that they or their families immigrated from. Of those that there has been contact with, all had legal residency status, Veterans Administration (VA) Benefits as well as strong ties to the United States through family members and their own lives and service.

The Deported Veterans Support House is a first of its kind.
The Director Hector Barajas served with the 82nd abn. and has a Life Deportation .
Deported Veterans Support House Project is funded through donations at their Go Fund me page.
The main goal for this Go fund me is to help pay for the rent, utilities and internet. They also help deported Veterans assimilate into their new environment.  http://www.gofundme.com/6zumc0

President Obama can end this by issuing an executive order ending the practice of deporting veterans, something that has bi-partisan support.
